Hanging Leg Raise

a.k.a. Hanging Leg Raises

Differentiation: Mechanics

This variation of a hanging abs exercise is unique. Here is how: you lift your legs upward against gravity. This movement fully stretches your torso. This movement forces you to recruit the fast-twitch muscles in your lower abs | to lift your legs upward. Lifting your leg against gravity | also maximizes the amount of tension on your lower abs throughout the movement. Maximizing tension increases the overall definition in your lower abdominals.
