Being Self Motivated

By Shane Cibella, a graduate of The Ohio State University.

I really got into acting. Its something I always wanted to do. Modeling and putting myself out there and getting contacted for acting really gave me the confidence that, "This is what I want to do. There's people interested in me doing this, so I just need to go after it 100%."

I'm self-motivated. You just have to educate yourself on what you are doing. If its football, learn as much as you can about it. Training, learn as much as you can about it. ...and go out and do things yourself.

Basically don't rely on other people. Its great to have a team around you that's going to help you out. But, really, at the end of the day, its really you that's pushing that team and pushing yourself. So, I think you really have to do things for yourself and then other people will follow.
