Calf Raise Using a Hacksquat Machine

Differentiation: Mechanics

This variation of a Standing Calf Raise is unique from other standing calf Raise exercises. Here is how: using a Hack Squat machine. The machine eliminates the need to maintain balance, (like you would need to do when performing a standing Calf Raise using a barbell on your shoulders). Not focussing on balancing allows you to intently focus on each contraction in your calf muscles. Your body is also leaning at a forward angle. This angle further incorporates your lower calves.
