Sometimes Model May Need to Be Totally Nude In a Studio

Surprisingly, sometimes a model may need to be totally nude at a photo shoot even though he is not posing for a fully-nude photo. His penis is blocked by using trick angles with the camera.
Trick angles are also used in TV show studio sets. For example, TV sitcoms based in a living room are filmed on soundstages that only have two or three walls.
The 'open sided box' design of a sitcom set - leaves room for the cameras and audience.
The camera operator is diligent in not showing the parts of the set that would reveal to the TV audience that it was not a "real" living room. The camera operator only shows the viewer what he wants to show.
A similar trick angle technique can be used for beefcake or semi-nude photo shoots. Anyone looking at the photo can tell the model was nude at the time of the shoot, but cannot see his johnson in the photograph.
The model ends up with an excellent photo that makes girls ask "How'd You Do That?"
Technique #1: Trick Angles
With trick angles, the camera lens cannot see the model's penis because of how the camera is positioned. Move the camera two feet to the right and the photo composition totally changes. The model is nude during the shoot, but this particular camera angle does not allow the audience to see the model's penis.

Technique #2: Props Block Privates From Camera View
Sometimes a prop (such as a football, bed sheet, towel, etc.) blocks the model's penis from camera view, but the viewer of the resulting photo can see that the model was nude at the time the photo was created. Although the camera cannot see the models private parts, the male models is totally nude. Trick angles show everything except for his genitals.

Technique #3: Cropping Photo at Waist
Cropping is when the photographer cuts off a scene, so that only a portion he wants to show is seen. For example, perhaps a photographer shoots a photo in which you are not centered in the photo. He can crop a little of the image off the left side and bottom of the photo which makes the model appears to be centered in the finished photo. Cropping also can be used to avoid showing too much in a photo. Sometimes the bottom of the photo is cropped just above the model's penis.

Nervousness Doesn't Last
However, these kinds of shoots can be nerve-wracking because the model is totally unclothed for hours at the shoot. Everything is hanging out and seen by the photo crew. Since this is a new experience, a new model should expect to be nervous during the beginning of his photo shoot. But nervousness does not last. After a while, the model gets accustomed to being naked and simply doesn't care.
