Inverted Row Using Gymnastic Rings

This variation of an inverted row is unique. Here is how: you hang from a pair of gymnastic rings. You must engage your abs | to keep your body as straight as possible.


Starting Position

To get into starting position, do this...

1) Locate gymnastic rings.

2) Adjust the rings so they are 3 feet above the floor.

3) Grasp a ring in each hand.

4) Lower your body until you are hanging under the rings with your arms fully extended

5) ...with your legs extended

6) ...and heels on the floor.

7) Your legs and torso should be straight.

Main Mechanics

Once in starting position, do this...

1) This is the starting position.

2) Exhale while you pull your body upward

3) ...until your chest touches the rings.

4) Hold this position for a count of one second.

5) Then, inhale while you gradually lower your torso...
