Here is an interesting and original prank.  This guy puts those party rocket poppers (whatever the hell you want to call them) under a bowl of pudding, so that when he pulls a string the pudding explodes on to people.  He tells girls that he is interviewing them about food (that's his justification for a camera being there), and then shoots them with the pudding.  Pretty funny.

What we like about this Video

-A smart prank.  And funny too.

-The girl kicked him in the balls she was so mad, haha.

-I like that they broke down exactly what they would be doing and how they would be doing it.

-It's a little too long.  We didn't need all of the slow motion replays.  Maybe just one.

-They didn't get hit with enough.  I was expecting a bigger explosion.

In this simple prank video, a guy roams about the dorm with some sort of ninja mask on (and yet no shirt) looking for somebody to scare.  Finally, he finds his victim in the laundry room.

What we like about this Video

-Although it's very short, they put enough time in to build suspense.  Even multiple camera angles.

-They got a really good scare on that girl!  She was quite surprised.

-Afterwards, she was a great sport about it.  Everyone wins.

-He scampered off really quick.  It would be really funny if he came up behind her and scared her again.

-We never get to see the guy's face.  What does he look like?

If you're looking for a fun prank (that isn't too mean) to use on your friends, look no further. These guys covered their friend's room in newspaper!

What we like about this Video

-It's a simple video that doesn't try to do too much. Anybody could make it, as long as they could get their hands on a camera. Hell, you could even just use a web cam for this.

-That must have taken a lot of work (the newspapers). We appreciate the dedication in order to display a good prank to the world!

-I would like to have seen you doing it. A fun way to do this is set up a camera to capture the whole process, and then speed it up real fast in editing. That way, the video isn't too long, but we still get to see it all go down.

-On the same note, I would love to see the guy's reaction. How did he feel about you ruining his room?

Some kid named Ben goes to play squash and leaves his room unlocked. So, his friends move EVERYTHING out of his room and in to some tiny hallway. A brilliant prank, executed to perfection.

What we like about this Video

-The before and after in pictures really helped us understand how they had completely ruined his room.

-Wow, that must have taken a lot of work. Great dedication.

-This generated a lot of interest from people on the hall.

-As always, a shirtless guy had to be there to witness. If there is a camera in a dorm and a video destined for youtube, there is some jackass without a shirt.

To be honest, here's a way to NOT go about filming a classroom prank. A guy goes in to the room smoking a cigarette, stands next to the professor, and writes Subject = Boring on the board. The problem is, the execution is all wrong.

What we like about this Video

-It does take some balls to do something like that, I'll give him that.

-He also dressed for the part.

-There are some problems here. The camera does not follow him in, so we are unable to closely see the reactions, and are not able to hear them at all.

-If you are going to do a prank that interrupts a lecture, you should make sure the students in the room are on your side. From what I could tell, the students were just as annoyed as the professor, so it loses humor.

-We can barely see what he wrote on the board. We also don't get to see his exit. This concept needed work from the start.

Nothing funnier than interrupting a college classroom, especially when there are costumes and dialogue. That's what happens in this video, when two guys break in to a classroom, one dressed as a lion, the other as a safari ranger. They have a brief battle, then run away.

What we like about this Video

-The safari guy hit that lion really hard. That was awesome.

-Nice planning.

-It's a funny costume too.

It's a difficult task to execute an entire prank on a webcam and still make it good. This kid succeeds, using a hidden remote control to change the channel on the tv and make his roommate thing the tv is just messed up. Eventually the roommate catches on, but it's fun the whole time.

What we like about this Video

-Great work to accomplish this entire thing on a webcam. We are given the setup, the execution, the conversation with the roommate, and the discovery by the roommate. Awesome work.

-I like how we see the remote come in to frame so that we know it's coming. This way, we are let in on the prank instead of being outsiders.

-Way to find a dumb subject (your roommate) ha.

-I see what you were going for with the music, so the video doesn't seem slow when nothing is happening. Good thinking. Your only problem is that you leave the volume too loud at times. Because of that, we are unable to hear some of the guy's complaints.

In this video from gregandlou.com, a guy gets his buddy a fake lotto ticket as a prank. He scratches it off, thinks he won 250k, and a funny thing happens. Check it out.

What we like about this Video

-Great writing. The contrast in moods from the first half to second is great.

-The guy who "wins" does some nice acting. Better than we normally see in short internet videos.

-"Tell him!" "...congratulations, that's a lot of money." That was really funny.

-The build up (explanation that he got the card, why, etc.) was too exaggerated. I would have preferred if they calmed down a bit.

I enjoy posting pranks on this site, and I found one relating to college and Christmas, so how could I not post it? These two guys (with the help of tons of friends) wrapped every single thing in their friends' room, to celebrate Christmas. The best part? They did it in May.

What we like about this Video

-It's a fairly original idea. I know Jim just did it on The Office but this video was filmed in '06, so they win. Lots of hard work went in to this, nice dedication.

-Thanks for letting us in on the process, by speeding up the film so we could see it all happen.

-It was also great to get the real-time reactions of the two guys. The first was a good sport. The second was just kind of boring about the whole thing.

-It's way too long. Normally I wouldn't even post a video this long on the site. But Christmas prank videos set in a dorm are few and far between.

-The opening shot is too wide. They put in a lot of work with props and everything, and we can barely see them, because the camera is too far away.

-The "f-word" on Christmas? In poor taste!

Two guys lean a bucket of water against some girl's door at 2am. They knock, she opens, water falls in. Ta-da!

What we like about this Video

-The use of sound and music is perfect. The song keeps us entertained through the boring parts, and builds up to the moment. It then cuts out when they knock and laugh, so we can hear it. It comes back in to display the excitement of the water falling in her room. Very funny.

-The end of the video says they faced all of this crazy trouble for doing it. It's not that serious of a prank, what the hell.

-Thanks for letting us view the process.

-It took entirely too long to lean the bucket against the door. You could have cut that out.

I'm not sure I really follow the reasoning behind this prank, but these guys decide to cover their friend's room with condoms.  I think because he moved out?  But then the logic is completely flawed.  Regardless, watch these guys throw condoms all over some guy's room.

What we like about this Video

-"I don't really have too much experience with these."  Welp, that guy just told everyone he doesn't get much sex.

-If it weren't so long it would be kind of funny.

-Good camera work.  We get to see everything.

-So many potential jokes were missed!  At one point one of the guys says "we should be putting lotion in them."  Yes, yes you should have.  Because then they appear to be used, and it's funnier that way.

-They just giggle the whole time.  It's really not that funny.

-If the RA wrote them up moments later, like the video suggests, why don't we get to see any of it?  Kind of a lame ending.

-The disclaimer on the youtube link says "FYI:  None of us are gay."  Come on dude, are you really that insecure?

It wouldn't be a true thanksgiving without somebody taking a pie to the face, and this video gives us just that. A kid is bringing pie to his whole family, but nails his Sister in the face with a whole one.

What we like about this Video

-It's not often that we see parents in these videos (unless it's a guy swinging a baby, and can we really call him a parent?), so, nice cameo!

-Sometimes it's just fun to bring it back to the basics.

-A like that there had clearly been a hidden camera there for the whole meal.

-I didn't care much for the slow motion repeat. It wasn't a fancy maneuver, you just shoved a pie in her face. We don't need to see it again.

This prank guy, who has been reviewed on our blog before, strikes again. In this mediocre plot, he gets a hold of the girls' key, copies it, and later uses it to break into their apartment. He then empties their freezer and fills it with snow. That's about it.

What we like about this Video

-We get to see an interview with the girls, to see how they feel about it all.

-If anything, he is good about breaking down how he executed each prank.

-We didn't really get to see the prank go down, just a reenactment.

-It would be funny to see them press charges for breaking and entering.

Students at Ohio State University gang up to duct tape a guy's door passage closed, while he is in the room!  It takes them a while to get him out, but when he finally comes, he has to rip it all down.

What we like about this Video

-That's a lot of duct tape.

-I love how long it took them to get him out.  They knocked like fifteen times, he just kept yelling "yeah!"

-There was so much build up, not much reward.  He simply pulled the tape down, with very little effort.

This video is short, but sweet.  A guy hides up on the ceiling of his dorm, to scare his neighbor. When his neighbor gets near, he drops and yells.  Funny,

What we like about this Video

-Short and simple.

-Requires Spider-Man-like strength.  Impressive.

-He genuinely scared him, and placed the camera in a great spot to capture the moment.

-Show us how the hell you got up there.

-Let us know how long you were waiting.

-The game seemed too annoyed.  What a jerk.  Accept the fact that you just got your balls scared off of you.

A very short video, but it's worth it to watch.  A guy waits outside of the bathroom to hit his friend over the head as a prank (not much of a prank, just violent, really).  He succeeds in hitting his friend, but the friend then falls down the stairs!

What we like about this Video

-That could not have worked out any better.

-"Stop filming, Stop filming!"  And then, they do just that.

-The innocent look on the guy's face just before he is hit.

A simple prank, executed to perfection.  The guy puts some tape over the faucet so it will shoot out all over the next person to turn it on.  He then puts a camera on the stove, IMs a girl to ask her to check her faucet, and captures the whole thing.  Nicely done, sir.

What we like about this Video

-It's short and to the point.

-Thanks to his narration of the set up, we get to see how everything went down.

-Sure enough, that girl got covered in water.

It wouldn't be wednesday without a prank video...In this one, two guys get little fire crackers that go off when you pull a string on both ends.  They rig it to the toilet to scare their roommate.  This sets off a series of attacks with the same kind of fire crackers.  It ends in the ultimate clown attack, when one of the guys gets a pie to the face.  Enjoy.

What we like about this Video

-Creative use with the toilet.

-They seem like they're all having fun and/or are jobless.

-Bob Saget would have loved the pie to the face.

-I would have liked to see the pranks evolve, rather than ending with a pie to the face.

What we like about this Video

-There's nothing like a good scare, especially around Halloween time.

-The other guys are not subtle at all in their waiting, but the guy doesn't catch on.

-Afterwards he yells "I knew you were gonna do that!!!"  The beauty of it?  No he didn't.

-You showed a good amount of reaction time afterwards.  Didn't cut away immediately, but didn't drag it on, or get sucked into the slow motion trap or anything.

Generally I don't post videos this long (almost six minutes in length), but this is really an awesome prank done by a house of college kids to the house next door.  In their basement they found a tunnel that leads to the other house.  So, they put in place a master plan.  At 4 AM one night, they broke in through the tunnel, tied everybody's doors together, silly stringed their living room, and then blew an air horn.  The beauty of it all is that they were never caught, and the RAs were baffled because the security cameras show nobody outside that night.  Brilliant.

What we like about this Video

-A lot of dedication was put into this prank, and it really paid off.

-They diagram for us how everything was done AND show it happen.  It's nice to be let in on the prank.

-They spent way too long getting that air horn to work, but it was funny.

Maybe Next time.

-The video is a little too long, there are some unnecessary shots of them crawling in the basement.  If they got rid of those it would be shorter, and a better watch.

-It's unfortunate that they have to tell in writing how everyone reacted, and that we didn't get to see it first hand.

In this short video a few students set up cups full of water to block another student's door.  While they are filming the execution, the student opens the door, the water falls in his room, and the culprits get away as fast as possible.

What we like about this Video

-We get to see the water fall in.  I was worried that wouldn't be included.

-It's always nice to get new ideas for pranks.

-It would have been nice if you filmed the whole set up and then sped the film up.

An unsuspecting sleeper is pranked.  A guy has passed out on his bed, and a girl comes in, puts shaving cream in his hand, tickles his nose, and watches him wipe the shaving cream all over his face.  He then gets her back by rubbing the rest on her.

What we like about this Video

-A simple prank, executed to perfection.

-He is actually snoring.  They caught him at the perfect time.

-He didn't seem all that angry.  I wish he would have flipped out.

-What if you hid the camera and the girl?  That way, he wakes up with shaving cream on his face, and there is nobody around to blame.

A couple of college students catch their roommate napping and he pays the price. They cover an air-gun with shaving cream, sneak up on the unsuspecting victim, and hit him in the face with enough shaving cream to stay clean shaven for a month.

What we like about this Video

-The poor kid wakes up just before they hit him, so we see a look of fear in his confused eyes.

-It's not too long. We see the build up, the execution, and that's all we needed.
