Another great video from "The Bloomington Bros." Last time we had them on the site we reviewed their parody of Nickelback's "Photograph." This time, they do their cover of the classic Dave Matthews Band song "Crash." While the Nickelback cover seemed to be poking fun and Nickelback's ridiculous lyrics, this focuses more on the guy's inability to remember the DMB lyrics, and yet sing them anyway. I think the target is you, drunken frat guy, who is likely reading this review while wearing an ironic shirt and sideways visor.

What we like about this Video

-I have heard this song mumbled incorrectly a number of times. Nice job capturing that joke.

-The lead guy does a great job of being confident in his failed lyrics.

-Simple, and yet funny.

-Like I said last time, more of these!

-The lighting is a little off, it just seems too dark. That wasn't a problem in your last video.

This is a short parody of a local car dealership commercial.  It's supposed to be cheesy and poorly done, and they execute it perfectly.  Very funny.

What we like about this Video

-They've captured a shitty local commercial perfectly.

-The guy is hilarious.  He plays awkward and unsure like a pro.

-I think there is actually a commercial just like this in my home town.

In this parody of your average college commercial, a student is accepted into Daybreak College.  A song plays throughout the entire video, as the student travels around the campus with a huge smile on his face.  Along the way he encounters some funny situations that demonstrate that Daybreak College may not be as wonderful as they want you to think.

What we like about this Video

-As Leslie Nielsen will tell you, sometimes you just need a good parody.

-Song lyric:  "Daybreak College, making sure everything's broken!"

-Slow motion in a short comedic video rarely fails, as demonstrated here.

Maybe Next time.

-The song was funny, but really just repeated the same few lyrics.  Some additional funny lines would have been appreciated.

-We saw a lot of him in the classroom.  How about a dorm or dining hall?  Lots of good opportunities missed.

Two guys make fun of the song "Photograph" by Nickelback, because it's just asking for it.  The lead singer just sings about his life in high school.  While the lyrics are absurd, if you haven't heard the Nickelback song, it's not a far stretch.

What we like about this Video

-The guys are hilarious, and stay dedicated to the joke for the whole video.

-There could not be a more deserving band to be made fun of.

-Funny, simple pictures.  In no way over the top.

-"I guess I grabbed a fourteen year olds boob."

-Keep up the parodies.  There are a lot of crappy bands out there.
