Inside This Video

Here is a type of video you will see quite a bit of on the internet:  a college student's own version of MTV's Cribs.  In this particular one from ECU, this student shows us his apartment, but mainly his fridge.

What we like about this Video

-They do a good job of following the cribs style.  I especially like the slow motion replays of simple actions, like displaying pudding.

-The joke is in the fact that in cribs the rich people are showing off their amazing houses, and in this it's just a college student showing his average apartment, and they do a pretty nice job executing that joke.

Maybe Next time.

-I often repeat that people should be careful with using licensed music.  These guys also have to be careful about the fact that they used MTV's actual cribs logo.  That's a no-no.  If they wanted, MTV could have this taken off the internet, so be careful.

-They could have done a better job writing funny dialogue and situations.  They spend a whole lot of time in front of the fridge, and it just got boring.

This guy finds tons of old crappy expired food in his fridge and is worried he will find nothing to eat. He should have been more worried about the fact that he was making a terrible video.

What we like about this Video

-The occasional cut aways to him drinking wine were kind of funny.

-It was funny the first time he made the gagging face...

Maybe Next time.

-...but not the second through thirtieth time.

-Lots of failed jokes in this one. I think he was trying to hard to be funny, when he clearly isn't.

-Pretty bad ending.
