Attempted Tricks Video

Inside This Video

Three students at Amherst college attempt all sorts of tricks like flips and jumping on to one another's backs. While at first I found this video to be kind of "meh," I actually found myself interested towards the end. They attempt to get three guys stacked on top of one another's shoulders. It's kind of interesting.

What we like about this Video

-They pulled off some moderately cool tricks.

-I was sucked in waiting for them to pull off that last one, and while they didn't ever quite get it, it still made for some pretty cool shots.

-Way to risk injury to entertain the rest of us!

Maybe Next time.

-The lighting in the room was pretty shitty. Turn some lights on so we can see what's going on a little better!

-What, no backflips?

Boring Vlog Video

Inside This Video

In a great example of what not to do in a vlog (video blog), a girl goes on and on telling us why she's so bored at college.  Thanks?

What we like about this Video

-The cuts to the pictures were somewhat interesting.

-I don't know if it was intentional, but thank you for speeding up the video at one point, so we didn't have to hear what you had to say.

Maybe Next time.

-Vlogs are tricky from the start.  I know some people just want to be noticed, and on the internet, but for the most part, vlogs are not interesting.  If you are going to create one, you have to have something interesting to say.  A really great, funny story, or a unique take on an every day thing.  Complaining that you are bored does no good, because all it does is bore the rest of us.

Sex and the City Parody Video

Inside This Video

This is a short sketch from a group called "Boy Meets Tractor" at Swathmore College. It presents what would happen if Spike TV carried Sex and the City, and the cast were made up of guys. Instead of gossip and talk of relationships, the guys sit quietly eating.

What we like about this Video

-I get the joke. Guys are don't talk about that kind of stuff. So, when the guy says "Jen and I broke up," nobody really cares.

-They took the silence to the perfect amount. At first it was boring, but because they dragged it on a little longer than you would expect, it became kind of funny.

Maybe Next time.

-It was pretty poor video quality.

-It's a very simple joke. I feel like there could have been a little more to it.
