Fiona Apple Cover Video
Inside This Video
A talented girl covers Fiona Apple's song "Paper Bag." Very nice sound quality, lots of talent, worth the watch.
What we like about this Video
-Great song, perfectly executed.
-She has a really nice voice.
-The sound quality is perfect. Is she in a bathroom or something?
-Brings her own flair to the already good song.
Maybe Next time.
-There was no real need for the Japanese intro at the beginning or the explanation at the end. The song is good enough, just cut to that.

1 Comments:
AT the time this video was posted, Kina was trying to win the Doritos "Crash the Super Bowl" contest which would enable her to win $10,000, her music video aired during the Super Bowl, and a recording contract with Interscope Records. Through online voting, she became a top finalist and eventually won the contest. The videos were her way of marketing herself to the world in order to get votes for the contest. So from a music video standpoint, the talking at the beginning and at the end may have been superfluous, but from a marketing standpoint, they were critical. During and after the contest, her video campaign was successful enough to be given kudos by the New York Times as well as numerous other marketing websites.
