Joseph is suave, sophisticated, cultured and spoiled rotten. If you visit his home, it will be a cappuccino or an espresso that he offers you, not a Miller Light. And when he is on the road, it's enough when he gabs with you on his car phone. It's even more impressive when he arrives in a BMW.
"Joe-watching" has become a new spectator sport. Always a sharply dressed man, this sexy man on campus is full of visual distractions! It's impossible to stay focused when you notice his presence in the room. He is the youngest of five brothers and four sisters in a very close knit (and big) Italian family. "Josie" and "Hollywood Joe" were nicknames given to him by the other Campus Men.
A big Steven King fan who is headed for graduate school, he gets a little testy about the superficiality of looks. He is not interested in being seen as "a side of beef." His essay on the character of people in politics was selected as one of twelve finalists in a nationwide Time magazine contest. He admits being shy and doesn't want to be misunderstood. "A lot of people think because you 're quiet, you're conceited or arrogant. Sometimes you're just reserved." He says the highlight of his experience in Florida was meeting Gloria Estefan at one of Campus Men's shoots — of course he snapped off a few photos to show the clan back home.
