Spring Break in Vegas: Shows in Las Vegas

MGM Grand bills itself as The City of Entertainment, but in reality entertainment is what makes the whole City of Las Vegas run. Each hotel has multiple showrooms (never say "theater" in Vegas) that generally offer two performances per evening. There are standing shows and headliners - shows that have been performing in the same showrooms at the same hotels for months or years. Other shows are passing through for a just a week or weekend.

Tickets can be purchased directly from the hotel box office. However, the best deals are at Tickets Tonight. The company has two free-standing box offices on The Strip that sell tickets for a wide variety of that day's shows at half price. You won't find tickets to "O" at Bellagio or other prime performance events, but you will find a good selection at prices that spring breaking students can afford.
