Spring Break in Vegas: Las Vegas Shopping
By Jane Beathard.
Las Vegas is not known as a shopping Mecca, but it is! The Fashion Show Mall in the middle of The Strip has all the upscale stores and restaurants found in Chicago and other big cities. If you've got lots of money, try the Forum Shops at Caesar's Palace or the Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian.
Best deals are at the city's two big Premium Outlet Malls. There's one on the south end of Las Vegas Blvd., another west of the Downtown area on Charleston Ave. There's bus service to both, but a taxi will be quicker. College girls who wear smaller sizes should check out Limited Editions For Her - a women's clothing discount store with the same brands you'll see in Vanity Fair, Town & Country and other upscale magazines. They have an abundance of sizes 0-8 at both locations.
