Photo Shoots at Sunrise
|
It is rare to obtain total privacy when holding a photo shoot outdoors. Photo shoots attract attention. When people see a photo shoot, they naturally want to watch because they are curious.
But, it can be difficult for models to pose unclothed or in underwear if strangers are watching.
To avoid bystanders, underwear photo shoots can be scheduled in the early morning when most people are asleep. This avoids onlookers walking by who can make a model nervous.
By scheduling a photo shoot at sunrise, the crew and models can be finished and back home before most people get out of bed. There is also less chance of strangers complaining about the shoot.
It may still be dark outside when you arrive for a sunrise photo shoot. A photographer may use a flashlight to shine on your face to focus his camera lens. The photographer sets up light reflectors and finds a position for the model before sunrise, then the actual photos are taken when the sun comes up.
Being scheduled for a sunrise shoot means a model must arrive at 5:30 AM. Getting out of bed in time for a sunrise shoot means going to sleep early the night prior to his shoot. Read why sleep is important.
A photographer can do his best to assure the least number of people will be around at your shoot. However, even in the wee hours of the morning, there will almost always be a bystander who will walk by an outdoor shoot.
