When your photo shoot is held in a hotel room

Surprisingly, models can receive professional photos even if the photographer schedules their photo shoot in a hotel room.

Since many photographers travel, their hotel rooms are the most convenient location for them to use. Hotel rooms offer privacy and an indoor location that is not effected by bad weather.

The most important factor for a shoot is lighting. Choosing a hotel room that has a lot of sunlight shining through windows is a plus. This is why a photographer may want to schedule your shoot during at a time that is not convenient for you. The time he schedules you may offer the most sunlight fills a room.

Full length poses show the model from head to toe. To obtain a full length pose, photographers must position their camera up to 12 feet away from the model. Choosing a room that offers a lot of open space allows this.

Most hotel rooms contain things that can be used for photos. For sexy poses, the most obvious prop available in a hotel room is a bed.

If the room has a sofa, it can also be used. Lastly, a shower can be used if there is enough space in the bathroom to set up photography lights.

When using a wall, the photo is about you and your personality. Not the location.

It is about your expressions and whether you flex your muscles properly. You can add to a photo by expressing your unique style by including accessories. This can include wearing a hat, necklace or anything that expresses your unique style. Holding any prop in your hands also add to a plain photo.

So, don't be disappointed if a hotel room is used for your shooting location - you just might obtain awesome photos.
