Departure Times for Photo Shoots Are Flexible
As a model, you will be given a firm time to arrive at a staging location before leaving for an outdoor shoot. But once your arrive at the staging area, departure times for the outdoor location are not firmly scheduled.
It is common for the crew to not depart for an outdoor location until two hours after the model arrives. Time is needed to prepare, including styling your hair and adding body makeup.
For example, you may be scheduled to arrive at 2 p.m. but may not actually pose in front of the camera until 3:30 p.m.
If the shoot involves multiple models, a model who is ready to be photographed will wait while other models are prepared.
Although you arrive on time, be prepared to wait a lot before you get photographed!
