The goal is to achieve a semi-hard penis for a long period of time.
The photographer stops each time the model's penis becomes completely soft. Then the model makes his penis fully erect again. During a three hour photo shoot, a model may get an erection dozens of times.
Avoiding Embarrassment
Even though the camera is pointed at the male model, a model can request that no photos be taken while his hand is stroking his penis, or while his penis is fully erect. This should be written in a contract or model release that the photographer signs. Simply add this text anywhere on the contract or model release and have the photographer initial next to the text: "Photographer shall not capture any images while Model's hand is in contact with Model's penis, or while Model's penis is fully erect." Keep a copy of the contract or model release.
