What is a Fan Challenge?
More Fans will support you if you give them a little guidance. That is where Fan Challenges help. A Fan Challenge is a contest you create to motivate Fans to perform fun tasks. If a Fan completes the Fan Challenge by the deadline you choose, the Fan receives a virtual trophy or a real-life prize.
You can use a Fan Challenge to motivate Fans to do fun tasks
Fan Challenges are a way to motivate Fans to "support" the Campus Man in any way he decides. You can have them do something on the Internet - or to do something in real life - such as show up at your party. Anything goes.
Examples of Fun Tasks You Can Have Your Fans Do:
- Get girls to attend something (a party, an event or a game)
- Get Fans to make a video (of you, or them, of anything)
- Get girls to photograph you while you are doing something (like competing in a game)
- Get campus-area Fans to staple street team fliers onto bulletin boards and kiosks on campus
Example: Examples of Good Fan Challenges...
Example 1: Paparazzi Challenge - Find your favorite Campus Man at the bar this weekend, snap a shot with him and submit for the trophy! All submittals will be posted on the trophy's webpage, along with the Fans and Campus Man's profile link and trophy.
Example 2: Shout-Out Challenge - Get your favorite Campus Man to give you a shout out on film and submit for the trophy! Best shout-out from the hottest guy earns you the Grand Trophy!!
Example 3: Hottest Thong Challenge - Hook your favorite Campus Man up with your sexiest thong for judging!! The Campus Man will submit and winners will receive the well deserved Trophy!!

How to Create a Fan Challenge
- The Campus Man thinks of a great idea that can help him get his name out there. Then, he ogs into CampusMen.com and goes to his "Compete" page, clicks "Create a Fan Challenge" and is taken to the Fan Challenge Form.
- He enters a title for the Challenge, describes what he wants Fans to do for him, and sets a deadline.
- He chooses one method of how Fans should respond
- He chooses what the Fan will receive (Either a Virtual Trophy or a real-life prize, not both!)
- He saves the Challenge
- All of the Campus Man's Fans get notified of the new challenge
- The Fan can respond to the Fan Challenge until the deadline.
Fans Win a Virtual Trophy or a Real Prize
If the Challenge awards a Virtual Trophy, every Fan who completes a Fan Challenge is awarded a Virtual Trophy. If the Challenge awards a Prize, the Campus Man decides who wins the prize. It is the Campus Man's responsibility to assure the Fan receives the promissed prize. CampusMen.com has no involvement in prizes for Fan Challenges.
Campus Man Chooses The Response Method
Fans need to show the Campus Man "what they did." So, the Fan "responds to the Challenge" by following the instructions she reads on the Fan Challenge.
Response methods include:
- Pasting a URL on the Fan Challenge form. (If the Fan got a blogger to mention the Campus Man, the Fan can "show" this by pasting the website address of the page where the guy is mentioned.)
- Uploading a photo on the Fan Challenge form (If a Challenge called for a Fan to add a note to a classroom chalkboard, the Fan can take a cell phone picture of the note.)
- Uploading a video on the Fan Challenge form
- Writing what she did on the form (Sometimes it is only possible for a Fan to just tell what she did.)
What is a Virtual Trophy?
Virtual Trophies are little graphic images of a trophy with text describing the nature of the accomplishment. Trophies a Fan has ever won (by meeting a Fan Challenge) are shown on her profile page.
What are Prizes?
If you want to create a Fan Challenge that awards a prize, you encourage a local business Sponsor to pledge a prize for your challenge. Then you can give away the prize to a Fan who wins a Fan Challenge. Read about how to obtain a Prize from a Sponsor.
