Photography Crew Discusses Key West Calendar Photo Shoot

Sean Ashbrook can't help but have mixed emotions when he watches the new Fox TV series Key West.

Last spring, when Ashbrook and the Campus Men® that populate his beefcake calendar were in Key West for the photo shoot, they had to share the limelight with the Key West cast.

"We were staying in these luxury homes that also were being considered to house the incoming Fox execs," Ashbrook recalled. "They had to be ready to be shown on very short notice."

To keep from getting the boot before his own photo shoot was finished, Ashbrook said he took to cleaning the three houses between trips around the keys.

"When I wasn't shooting, I had a bottle of Spic-n-Span in my hand," he said. "When the Fox guys came to town, we were immediately out of style."

Ashbrook plans a return to Key West this year to shoot the 1994 Women of the Scarlet and Gray calendar.
