[College Student] Oh, does this leg program does it get my calves to doesn't It?

[Personal Trainer] Yes it does.

[College Student] OK. So, why would I do them again?

[Personal Trainer] Why would you do them again? Well, calves are the one body part that can actually tolerate very frequent, very intense workouts just by virtue of their fiber composition. Generally muscles with a huge or larger preponderance of slow twitch muscle fibers respond more to frequent less intense training. The definition of intensity is debatable but we'll use it here as just heavy weight, hard work. Just You can train your calves hard five days a week and they will respond.
